It still wasn't a win in the end, but Ian Defley's second place at Ajaccio - Bastia was somewhat of a relief in what has been a horrid season to date. No wins at all is a situation which the team could not have conceived of more than 80 day ago.
The decision to hold off racing to attend the Volta ao Porto tour is looking more and more like a horrible piece of planning, and the catalyst for the team's implosion. Of course, no one could have seen Defley going down on the very first day of racing, but needless to say, the racing Gods have been none too kind this season.
The emergence of Fenton Sommers, though has been a rare glimpse of light in a troubled season. Sommers will be competing at the Österreich TT in what will be the team's last chance to make amends this season. Though a win is once again unlikely, they will hope to at least come home strong with a decent showing to close out this best forgotten season.

That's a shame your planning didn't went as you hoped to. Maybe you can look for a 2nd captain, so you can bet on two "horses"... Succes!
